Despite a disappointment, a good price for Brian Young
In November 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Saltaire, 1961 by Brian Young for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,400.47). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Post-War British Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Saltaire, 1961 is the most expensive artwork by Brian Young that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Brian Young
Im November 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Saltaire, 1961 von Brian Young für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.400,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Saltaire, 1961 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Brian Young, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
