Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Follow Brian, Lads, He's Got All the Lolly' by Brian Shields was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,394.31). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Brian Shields - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Terraces And Mills, which sold at auction in December 2013 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 24,056.90).

Die Arbeit 'Follow Brian, Lads, He's Got All the Lolly' von Brian Shields kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.394,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Brian Shields mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Terraces And Mills beobachtet, die im Dezember 2013 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 24.056,90) versteigert wurde.
