The work "David Bowie, Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)", 1980 by Brian Duffy was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2017. The result of SEK 40,000.00 (€ 4,107.14) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Brian Duffy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David Bowie, "Aladdin Sane" (Eyes Open) in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 47,812.50 (€ 41,388.94).
