Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work White Spots by Breon O'Casey. The price achieved of GBP 1,792.00 (€ 2,076.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Breon O'Casey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jungle Bird in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,515.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit White Spots von Breon O'Casey zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.792,00 (€ 2.076,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Breon O'Casey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jungle Bird im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.515,25).
