Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Christmas Card) by Breon O'Casey was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in March 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,560.00 (€ 2,296.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Breon O'Casey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Jungle Bird in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,515.25).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Christmas Card) von Breon O'Casey wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.560,00 (€ 2.296,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Breon O'Casey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Jungle Bird im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.515,25).
