Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Collection Of Jewellery Including A Jadite And White Metal Necklace Together With A Pair Of Earrings, A Ring And A Bangle by Breon O'Casey was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,900.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Breon O'Casey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Jungle Bird, which sold at auction in September 2019 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,515.25).

Die Arbeit A Collection Of Jewellery Including A Jadite And White Metal Necklace Together With A Pair Of Earrings, A Ring And A Bangle von Breon O'Casey wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.900,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
