Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Turbulence by Brendan Neiland for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,427.58). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Brendan Neiland have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in February 2008 by the work Untitled (cityscape) at GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,961.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Turbulence von Brendan Neiland für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.427,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Brendan Neiland wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Februar 2008 die Arbeit Untitled (cityscape) mit GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.961,94).
