A top price for Brendan Neiland - as previously expected
In February 2008 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Untitled (cityscape) by Brendan Neiland. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,961.94), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (cityscape) is the most expensive artwork by Brendan Neiland that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (cityscape) von Brendan Neiland zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.961,94) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Untitled (cityscape) das teuerste Kunstwerk von Brendan Neiland, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
