Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Bosco Sodi was sold in the 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction at Phillips in New York in July 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 37,500.00 (€ 31,849.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bosco Sodi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 162,927.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Bosco Sodi wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion 20th c. & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 31.849,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bosco Sodi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 162.927,10).
