Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Boris Valentinovich Shcherbakov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2020. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work March sold for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,026.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Boris Valentinovich Shcherbakov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot In the Fields, Yasnaya Polyana sold at auction in November 2021 with the realized price of GBP 30,240.00 (€ 35,504.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Boris Valentinovich Shcherbakov erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit March für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.026,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Boris Valentinovich Shcherbakov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit In the Fields, Yasnaya Polyana im November 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 30.240,00 (€ 35.504,61).
