Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled From The Sots Art Series by Boris Mikhailov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,857.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Boris Mikhailov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twenty-Three Works From By The Ground Series in June 2013 with an auction result of GBP 57,500.00 (€ 67,112.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled From The Sots Art Series von Boris Mikhailov kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.857,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Boris Mikhailov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twenty-Three Works From By The Ground Series im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 57.500,00 (€ 67.112,80).
