The work Untitled From The Sots Art Series by Boris Mikhailov was sold in the Russian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,741.78), 67% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Boris Mikhailov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Twenty-Three Works From By The Ground Series, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 57,500.00 (€ 67,112.80).

Die Arbeit Untitled From The Sots Art Series von Boris Mikhailov wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.741,78) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Boris Mikhailov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Twenty-Three Works From By The Ground Series beobachtet, die im Juni 2013 für GBP 57.500,00 (€ 67.112,80) versteigert wurde.
