Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 10,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bonaventura Peeters have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An estuary with loggers at a northern trading post in January 2004 with an auction result of USD 113,525.00 (€ 91,170.09).
