Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chet Baker by Bob Willoughby was sold in the Photographs Now The Collector's Edition auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,742.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bob Willoughby have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Audrey Hepburn and Assam on the set of the 1964 Warner Bros. production My Fair Lady, Burbank, 1963 in September 2017 with an auction result of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,799.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chet Baker von Bob Willoughby wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographs Now The Collector's Edition bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.920,00 (€ 1.742,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bob Willoughby auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn and Assam on the set of the 1964 Warner Bros. production My Fair Lady, Burbank, 1963 im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.799,78).
