Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Single Hits, 1984 by Blade was sold in the Pop x Culture auction at Bonhams in London in October 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,123.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Blade achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beyond The Wall, 1984 in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 37,176.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Single Hits, 1984 von Blade wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Pop x Culture bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.123,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Blade erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beyond The Wall, 1984 im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.176,00.
