Modelled in the shape of a womans' bust. Decorated with blue and light grey glaze. Signed Bjørn Wiinblad 73. H. 35,5 cm. Diam. 23 cm. The inner diam. of candle holders ca. 2.8 cm.
Auction result misses estimated price range
In November this year a collector was able to acquire the work A combined four-branch earthenware candelabrum and flower vase by Bjørn Wiinblad for DKK 2,700.00 (€ 362.13). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bjørn Wiinblad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tall earthenware centrepiece in the shape of a woman with a hat, decorated with polychrome glazes, remoavble top in October this year with an auction result of DKK 28,000.00 (€ 3,751.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A combined four-branch earthenware candelabrum and flower vase von Bjørn Wiinblad für DKK 2.700,00 (€ 362,13) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bjørn Wiinblad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tall earthenware centrepiece in the shape of a woman with a hat, decorated with polychrome glazes, remoavble top im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 28.000,00 (€ 3.751,70).
