This artwork by Bita Vakili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work This Is Me #3 sold for USD 31,250.00 (€ 22,491.72) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Bita Vakili; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dreaming New York sold at auction in April 2012 with the realized price of USD 45,000.00 (€ 34,016.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Bita Vakili erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit This Is Me #3 für USD 31.250,00 (€ 22.491,72) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Bita Vakili; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dreaming New York im April 2012 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 45.000,00 (€ 34.016,18).
