Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (From Suburbia), 1972 by Bill Owens was auctioned at Christies in Paris in May 2007. The price achieved of EUR 1,140.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bill Owens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suburbia, 1973 in April 2006 with an auction result of USD 90,000.00 (€ 71,292.78).

Die Arbeit Untitled (From Suburbia), 1972 von Bill Owens kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.140,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bill Owens erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suburbia, 1973 im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 90.000,00 (€ 71.292,78).
