Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work i) CARDOS ii) Untitled iii) DALIAS by Bibi Zogbé for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,249.55). This price was achieved in the auction Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Bibi Zogbé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lebanesecactus in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,432.65).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit i) CARDOS ii) Untitled iii) DALIAS von Bibi Zogbé für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.249,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Middle Eastern, Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bibi Zogbé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lebanesecactus im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.432,65).
