Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Retamas Aromos by Bibi Zogbé was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May last year. The price achieved of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,999.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bibi Zogbé have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lebanesecactus in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,432.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Retamas Aromos von Bibi Zogbé kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.999,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bibi Zogbé auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lebanesecactus im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.432,65).
