Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Descent from the cross by Biagio Pupini was sold in the Old Master Drawings and Engravings auction at Il Ponte in October 2018. The result of EUR 600.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 600.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Biagio Pupini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Christ among the doctors in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 23,805.40).

Die Arbeit Descent from the cross von Biagio Pupini wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Old Master Drawings and Engravings bei Il Ponte versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 600,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Biagio Pupini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Christ among the doctors im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 23.805,40).
