Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Sendas De Chicle by Betsabée Romero. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,568.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Other works by Betsabée Romero have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2004 the work Sans titre was auctioned for EUR 16,730.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sendas De Chicle von Betsabée Romero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.568,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Betsabée Romero konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2004 die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 16.730,00 versteigert.
