Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Oia, Santorini; and a print by Bernhard Vogel. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 336.00 (€ 499.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernhard Vogel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sant Nicolaskerk, Amsterdam, which sold at auction in December 2001 for EUR 1,763.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Oia, Santorini; and a print von Bernhard Vogel zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 336,00 (€ 499,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Bernhard Vogel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sant Nicolaskerk, Amsterdam beobachtet, die im Dezember 2001 für EUR 1.763,00 versteigert wurde.
