Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fundament. by Bernhard Buhmann was auctioned at VAN HAM in Cologne in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 746.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernhard Buhmann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Buddy Holly in September last year with an auction result of USD 11,340.00 (€ 11,591.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fundament. von Bernhard Buhmann kam im Oktober 2020 bei VAN HAM in Köln zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 746,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernhard Buhmann erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Buddy Holly im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 11.591,54).
