Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work A still life with strawberries by Bernardus Johannes Blommers. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardus Johannes Blommers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorting the catch in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 232,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with strawberries von Bernardus Johannes Blommers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardus Johannes Blommers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorting the catch im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 232.250,00.
