However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Bernardo Canal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venice, A View Of The Entrance To The Grand Canal With The Bacino Di San Marco, which sold at auction in January 2013 for USD 266,500.00 (€ 196,186.69).
