Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Bernardino Licinio was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,533.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardino Licinio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Visited By Her Lover in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 362,500.00 (€ 277,713.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist von Bernardino Licinio kam im Juli 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.533,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernardino Licinio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Visited By Her Lover im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 362.500,00 (€ 277.713,94).
