The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 30,240.00 (€ 24,799.08) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernardino Licinio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Visited By Her Lover in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 362,500.00 (€ 277,713.94).
