Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,000.00 (€ 20,888.08). Admittedly, works by Bernardino Cesari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Perseus And Andromeda in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,905.91).

Die Arbeit Four Male Nudes In A Landscape von Bernardino Cesari wurde im Januar 2008 in der Auktion The Jeffrey E. Horvitz Collection of Italian Drawings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.000,00 (€ 20.888,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernardino Cesari auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Perseus And Andromeda im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.905,91).
