Auction result well in line with expectations
The work St. Paul's Cathedral from the Embankment by Bernard Walter Evans was sold in the The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists auction at Christies in London in January 2007. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 579.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Walter Evans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Richmond, Yorkshire in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,574.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit St. Paul's Cathedral from the Embankment von Bernard Walter Evans wurde im Januar 2007 in der Auktion The Lyndon Goodwin Harris Collection of Watercolours by Albert Goodwin, Joseph Edward Southall & Other Artists bei Christies in London versteigert.
