In March 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Arts de l'Orient et des Indes du XIème au XXIème siècle Provenant d'une collection française, which included the work Sans titre by Bernard Saby. The auction ended at the price of EUR 600.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Saby achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im März 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Arts de l'Orient et des Indes du XIème au XXIème siècle Provenant d'une collection française durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Bernard Saby zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 600,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Saby erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
