Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The Wheel by Bernard Langlais. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,033.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Other works by Bernard Langlais have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2010 the work Honkey Tonkey was auctioned for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,503.53).
