In January 2014 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection personnelle d'Elsa Schiaparelli, which included the work Visage D'Enfant by Bernard Lamotte. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 187.50 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Bernard Lamotte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rue Saint Vincent in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 5,640.00 (€ 6,046.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Januar 2014 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection personnelle d'Elsa Schiaparelli durch, in der auch die Arbeit Visage D'Enfant von Bernard Lamotte zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 187,50 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Bernard Lamotte erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rue Saint Vincent im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.640,00 (€ 6.046,31).
