Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soir D'Hiver by Bernard Gantner was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in August 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,318.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Bernard Gantner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Soleil d'hiver in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,872.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soir D'Hiver von Bernard Gantner wurde im August 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.318,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Gantner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Soleil d'hiver im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.872,91).
