Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,250.00 (€ 1,119.27). Admittedly, works by Bernard Dufour have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nu De Dos, Debout, Entre Jambes Noir. Architecture.Plan, 1961 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 6,783.00.

Die Arbeit Nature morte von Bernard Dufour kam im Juli 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.250,00 (€ 1.119,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard Dufour auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nu De Dos, Debout, Entre Jambes Noir. Architecture.Plan, 1961 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.783,00.
