Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,944.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Bernard de Hoog have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The bliss of motherhood in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dutch at The Seaside von Bernard de Hoog kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.944,35) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard de Hoog auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The bliss of motherhood im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
