Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work A frugal meal by Bernard de Hoog. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Bernard de Hoog have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The bliss of motherhood in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 45,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A frugal meal von Bernard de Hoog zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Bernard de Hoog auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The bliss of motherhood im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.600,00.
