Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 3,200.00 (€ 3,028.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Berenice Abbott achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work New York At Night, 1932 in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 64,366.63).
