In January 2024 Bonhams in Skinner Boston held the auction Prints & Photographs, which included the work New York at Night by Berenice Abbott. The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,680.00 (€ 6,712.11), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Berenice Abbott have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York At Night, 1932 in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 64,366.63).

Im Januar 2024 führte Bonhams in Skinner Boston die Auktion Prints & Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit New York at Night von Berenice Abbott zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.680,00 (€ 6.712,11) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Berenice Abbott auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York At Night, 1932 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 64.366,63).
