Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 17,575.00 (€ 15,089.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Benjamin Chambers Brown - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Poppy Fields Near Pasadena, which sold at auction in August 2019 for USD 60,075.00 (€ 54,668.30).
