Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Carpet of flowers - the Desert by Benjamin Chambers Brown was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,422.17). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Benjamin Chambers Brown achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Poppy Fields Near Pasadena in August 2019 with an auction result of USD 60,075.00 (€ 54,668.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Carpet of flowers - the Desert von Benjamin Chambers Brown kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.422,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Benjamin Chambers Brown erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Poppy Fields Near Pasadena im August 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.075,00 (€ 54.668,30).
