The »bidding war« ended at USD 7,650.00 (€ 6,483.05), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Benjamin Chambers Brown have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Poppy Fields Near Pasadena in August 2019 with an auction result of USD 60,075.00 (€ 54,668.30).

Die Arbeit Mountains and Sycamores von Benjamin Chambers Brown wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 7.650,00 (€ 6.483,05) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Benjamin Chambers Brown auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Poppy Fields Near Pasadena im August 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.075,00 (€ 54.668,30).
