Despite a disappointment, a good price for Benni Efrat
In April 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Collage III by Benni Efrat for USD 2,350.00 (€ 2,610.53). This price was achieved in the auction 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART at Christies in Tel Aviv and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Despite this disappointing result, Collage III is the most expensive artwork by Benni Efrat that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Benni Efrat
Im April 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Collage III von Benni Efrat für USD 2.350,00 (€ 2.610,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19TH & 20TH CENTURY ART bei Christies in Tel Aviv erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Collage III das teuerste Kunstwerk von Benni Efrat, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
