Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Of Marchese Francesco Fiaschi by Benedetto Gennari was sold in the Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 104,500.00 (€ 79,899.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Benedetto Gennari have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diana And Endymion in July 2014 with an auction result of GBP 506,500.00 (€ 638,855.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Marchese Francesco Fiaschi von Benedetto Gennari wurde im Februar 2013 in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 79.899,07) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
