The work Il y a toujours une solution by Ben Vautier was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in Brussels in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,024.00 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ben Vautier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Duchamp in December 2013 with an auction result of EUR 105,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Il y a toujours une solution von Ben Vautier wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.024,00 und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ben Vautier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Duchamp im Dezember 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 105.900,00.
