Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Frumahs by the sea by Ben Tobias was sold in the Home & Interiors auction at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 765.00 (€ 871.85). Admittedly, works by Ben Tobias have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rabbis Frumahs By The Sea, No.31 in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,920.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Frumahs by the sea von Ben Tobias wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Home & Interiors bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 765,00 (€ 871,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ben Tobias auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rabbis Frumahs By The Sea, No.31 im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.640,00 (€ 3.920,48).
