This artwork by Batta Mihailovitch achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in June 2007. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Composition, 1959 sold for EUR 2,231.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 900.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Batta Mihailovitch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arche De Noe , 1959-1961, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 5,792.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Batta Mihailovitch erzielte im Juni 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Composition, 1959 für EUR 2.231,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Batta Mihailovitch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arche De Noe , 1959-1961 beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 5.792,00 versteigert wurde.
