Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2010 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Barque Le Jour, 1970 by Batta Mihailovitch. The price achieved of EUR 638.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Admittedly, works by Batta Mihailovitch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arche De Noe , 1959-1961 in March 2012 with an auction result of EUR 5,792.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2010 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barque Le Jour, 1970 von Batta Mihailovitch zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 638,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Batta Mihailovitch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Arche De Noe , 1959-1961 im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.792,00.
