The price achieved of EUR 2,478.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Batta Mihailovitch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arche De Noe , 1959-1961, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 5,792.00.
