Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Batta Mihailovitch was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 2,478.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Batta Mihailovitch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arche De Noe , 1959-1961, which sold at auction in March 2012 for EUR 5,792.00.

Die Arbeit Unknown von Batta Mihailovitch kam im Dezember 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.478,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Batta Mihailovitch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arche De Noe , 1959-1961 beobachtet, die im März 2012 für EUR 5.792,00 versteigert wurde.
