Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,736.00 (€ 8,606.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Basil Rakoczi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2003 the work Fille Á L'Oiseau Exotique was auctioned for GBP 6,462.50 (€ 9,439.07).
